Each separate User of the Clifton Water District’s system is required to have a separate water tap so that each User’s water consumption can be independently metered and each User can be responsible for their own water usage.  Under certain conditions tap sharing or multiple units being served by a single tap are allowed by District policy.  The following Plant Investment Fee structure are the current fees for the purchase of a new service connection to the system.  Typically, a residential single family home requires a 3/4" Tap.  Additional Tap sizes are available for a variety of water usage demands and are also represented in the Plant Investment Fee Schedule.  All Out-of-District water users are charged 1.5 times the In-District rates.  In addition to the Plant Investment Fees, the installation cost (time and materials) are the responsibility of the customer.

Main Line Extension Fees (Wet Taps) 

 Main Line Extension Fees include all related materials, labor and equipment to be installed by Clifton Water District personnel per policy.
