| Residential Water Rates |

All in-district water customers within the Clifton Water District pay a minimum monthly water bill of $10.00, which include their first 3,000 gallons of water usage. After the first 3,000 gallons, each 1,000 gallons thereafter is billed at the rates listed in the 2nd chart below. Use the first table to calculate an actual (or expected) water bill. |

| Out of District Rates |
Our Out of District customers can use the same table above to calculate their water bill ... they just need to remember to multiply the water bill under the Clifton Water District column by 1.5. The extra charges offset the District's operational costs of providing water to outlying areas.
To put this in some sort of perspective, it costs the District more to provide water service to outlying areas. These increased costs include (but are not limited to) meter reading, water delivery, treatment and labor to respond to customer requests. The Out of District rates of 1.5 times the In District rates offset the increased costs. |
